Biography

Melanie McClare is the CEO of Swirltex Inc., a start-up cleantech company focused on solving the world’s toughest wastewater problems. She has a Chemical Engineering Degree from McGill University and an MBA from Haskayne School of Business in Calgary, Canada.

Melanie began her career working in the industrial resource sector in Europe and West Africa and moved into the water industry over a decade ago and completed her MBA in 2018. For the past three years, she has been leading Swirltex, and is focused on growing the company to solve complex wastewater challenges across multiple market segments.
